Saigon - Water Puppet Show

Water Puppet performance is unique to Vietnam.

While the puppets are controlled behind a screen (with about 4 feet of pool of water) a bunch of musicians play and sing songs. The coordination is trumendous, as the puppeteer behind the screen could not see whats going on in front, and the musicians/singers could not see the puppeteers.

Another thing I like about the show is the way they tell the stories (all stories in this performance is based on old Vietnamese legends and folk tales) - it is really like old men/women tell stories; only with background music.

Of course I didn't understand even a word they were saying as it was all done in Vietnamese.
